Post/mail from UK

Are people getting mail ok in Kyrenia area?

How long is it taking?

Any info appereciated, I would like to get a magazine subscription from the UK but dont want to pay if half the editions will go missing!

Hello.

I live in Esentepe and I have had six letters sent over here from England in the past 6 months, all the letters arrived safely and this included a parcel from Amazon. All credit to the post office (upto now.) Bevron.

Since all the investigations a couple of years ago, IMO mail has improved immeasurably.
That said I would not trust that a magazine would arrive here, too easy to disappear.

I live in Ozankoy and received 2 letters posted in the UK on 13 November they were franked in Lefkosa on 19th & 21st of November (6 & 8 days from UK) and delivered to my PO box in Ozankoy on 6th December!!!!(18 days).Unfortunately I threw the envelopes away in error, so have no proof of this to pursue the matter.I think this proves any problems are here and not in the UK as suspected at one time.

I live in Lapta and 3 parcels had been posted from the UK all at the same time and at the same post office, in November only 1 arrived here. All very strange.

I have recieved mail delivered to my home from the Catalkoy Post Office. These are the letters that I know will be arriving, the post arrives on a Thursday morning with a lovely guy on a motor bike. The longest one has taken from the UK is 10 days.

I have my post delivered to a PO box in Esentepe and I receive a several (3) monthly magazines and they all arrive with no problem.....Christmas cards are a totally different thing though...not sure why!

Seriously, my mags get here around the same date every month and so far, none have gone missing (3 years).
