Have seen the snaps last night, at the park quiz.......defo not an alligator......no legs on the beast, and had gills......it’s a big ugly fish, that’s wot it is.....,,mind you, would not fancy a paddle, with something like that, lurking about..........sorry.....fake news I’m afraid.....

If people stroll down the pages on Taskent fb page, there are pictures of the fish, Im presuming it's the one that has been found and they have taken it to examine it.

Having seen photographs in today C2D of the dead Alligator Gar, I feel so sorry for the poor thing. What sort of life must it have had prior to being dumped. Probably some ignoramus thought it was fun to buy one and an equally stupid ignoramus imported one to sell. Having also read the same article I won't be ordering Lagos or Grouper in restaurants either.
