Did anyone see Trevor Macdonald in Cyprus on the tv last night? He must have said invasion about six times, He forgot to mention the 400 lives lost by the British long before 1974.

I watched it first time round and again last night. You can't watch these documentaries / videos enough. Gut wrenching every time.

Gut wrenching I agree and I still want to chuck a brick through the screen because of the misinformation peddled to the world at large at the time and still being peddled to this day.

Isn't it incredible that politicians can peddle a lie and over time it becomes accepted by so many as fact. Cyprus is one instance but it's widespread across the world. Many of the genocides have just been lied into non-existance . Truth is just a commodity to be bought and sold ....ain't humanity just perverse ??

Soner, this new video gives an honest account of the Cyprus "problem" though if it is new it's many years too late in the coming. Having lived in the TRNC for fifteen years I wrote a book on the subject which was due to be published this month. Unfortunately, because of the devastating effect of cornonavirus on the publishing industry worldwide it has been put on indefinite hold -

A very knowledgeable summarising of the injustice of the world view.... but it does not address the elephant in the room... i.e. the very Greek connection of the Duke of Edinburgh. There will never be honest recognition of Greek culpability until that tie is broken.
