Paying quarantine fees

Does anyone know if there is an online facilty to pay this where you get a payment receipt etc.

I've seen the bank details issued by the govt as to who to pay (TC ZIRAAT BANKASI) but apart from just doing a random bank transfer into this TRNC bank I'm not sure what to do.

I suppose I could put my passport number as the payment reference on the online transfer and then print out my bank statement showing the transfer (and show this at Ercan)

Thanks for any help.

Hi both, this is copied from the British Resident's Society newsletter. Hope it helps.

QUARANTINE COSTS FOR 7 DAYS WITH PCR TEST - APPLICABLE FOR ARRIVALS AS FROM THE 16TH JULY
We have just received confirmation from the Ministry of Health that the payment required in advance (prior to departure) is Accommodation including meals is 265TL per person per night x 7 = 1,855TL plus 300TL for PCR test.
Total amount 2,155TL
Confirmation of payment in advance will need to be produced upon arrival at Ercan airport.
If coming from a Zone C country, such as the UK, ensure that the payment for your quarantine and PCR test is made before departure. Then ensure that you carry a copy of the payment advice with you on the flight.
The bank details are as follows,
TC ZİRAAT BANKASI ACCOUNT INFORMATION RECIPIENT NAME: KKTC MALİYE BAKANLIĞI
RECIPIENT ADDRESS : KKTC MALİYE BAKANLIĞI LEFKOŞA-KKTC
RECIPIENT BANK ADRESİ: ŞHT. MUSTAFA AHMET RUSO SOKAK NO:11 KÜÇÜK KAYMAKLI LEFKOŞA KKTC
ACCOUNT NUMBER AND IBAN NUMBER FOR TC ZİRAAT BANKASI
TL
HESAP NO: 40298710-5001 UBAN: TR290001000860402987105001
USD
HESAP NO: 40300032-5001 IBAN: TR470001000860403000325001

HESAP NO: 40298710-5002 IBAN: TR020001000860402987105002
GBP
HESAP NO: 40298710-5004 IBAN: TR450001000860402987105004
Print off and complete the TRNC Ministry of Health Information and Obligation Form. This consists of two pages. One completed form for each adult, children may be added to one of the adult’s forms. Ensure that you bring these with you.
Upon arrival at Ercan airport, the necessary officials will be aware of your arrival in advance, through the flight manifests, which will also highlight any connecting flights that you have made, to connect with your final flight to the TRNC.

Only upon arrival at Ercan will your quarantine accommodation be allocated to you, according to availability. It will not be possible to know beforehand, where you will be accommodated.

You can pay at the hotel upon arrival, but be aware of the expected price. The hotel owner may charge you a different price.

That's interesting.

The BRS update from last week said the payment must be made prior to departure from the UK.

Is this now out of date? Where did you get that info from please so I can double check what is expected?

Do you think they are simply mistaken/misinformed?

When we landed we showed our NHS emails showing our negative results. Did they accept them? I have no idea. They wrote down the details for each one on the entry form that we had filled in and then we queued for our PCR tests. Eyes streaming from the not so gentle swabbing we then went to passport control,
Funnily enough, my party of six and the party of 3 in front of us were told 7 days quarantine while the 90 or so other passengers on the same flight were allowed to swan off into the night. How they can guarantee tracing everybody if they test positive is another story.
So the 9 of us were placed to the side of passport control until everyone else had left. We were then all taken to baggage reclaim to retrieve our lonely looking cases.
We waited there until ushered outside with two non-masked Police officers. No explanation, no government reps. Thankfully our comrade in the other party spoke Turkish and we were able to establish that the Police had no idea where we were going until my taxi driver friend who had come to collect us surreptitiously was told it was off to the Malpas.
30 minutes later the bus arrived and on we got. No PPE for the driver and no sanitization equipment provided. I doubt whether the bus had been cleaned from last year let alone from the last set of quarantiners.
Anyways, off we went to the Malpas. After a short stop for a check on the suspension after riding a wave on the Lefkosa-Girne road, we duly turned ...left and ended up at the Olivia Palm hotel.
Payment for quarantine demanded on arrival from the owner. Having been to the TRNC every year since 1995 I decided to chance my hand and argued the case for not paying. I wanted to find out what he was charging.
Still haven't paid, but will have to soon as we're due out Wednesday and he still has our passports.

Have a look at this link from the Ministry of Health. The set price for quarantine is in the Notes at the bottom and is the latest info I have been able to find.
