Cardplus problems paying for MOT online.

I tried multiple times to pay for my MOT on line today using my cardplus card, which I have successfully used a few times now for this online stuff, but no luck.

It is the security page where it gives you an 8 digit code to put into the box lower down the page - but it would only let me put 5 digits in??? and it would only let me type numbers in - not letters.......

Strangely though my UK visa card payment went straight through!!!

Sorry, not sure I can help you with Cardplus but I did pay for my car tax last June using a British (HSBC) Visa debit card.
My own question is- how do you pay for your MOT on line? Is it the same process as with the Tax? I have just wasted
a morning driving from Camlibel to the Girne Tax Office, arrived 9.30 to be told to go back tomorrow and be there by 7am.
A complete shambles, people milling around staring at the numbers on a screen above the entrance which was manned by
a security guard.
I already had the emissions done on the way in at a garage in Karaoglanoglu.

Further to the above, does the process involve paying on line for the MOT and printing out a receipt to take to the MOT
compound, then following the same method as before?

Howard, yes it uses the same site as payment of car tax online. When you input you reg. No etc and your vehicle page opens with all the car details on it you will see a list of options to the left. Vehicle inspection is listed, click here and a 265tl charge page is shown. When/if you manage to pay print off a copy. I have yet to visit the police station, will Go tomorrow, but assume it will be the same as usual.

I just filled in all the details and the page came up with the details, but no options on the left side to select. I had the same problem when I used the same procedure with on line car tax payment. I had to email the address on the website, and fair play they came back very quickly to ask ne to try again. It worked then. But not this time! So i’m sending another email.

Update. Started from the beginning and this time it worked, So I have a print out, now I need to find a testing station nearby,
anyone know if there is a place near Guzelyurt or will I have to go to Lefkosia or Girne?
