I was chastised by someone on this forum near the start of the shut down when I banged on about the importance, and how Covid could infect more people, faster than ignoring the masks. Hand washing and rubber gloves are essential and I notice that Lemar in Alsancak and now handing out gloves again.

Doctors do not recommend the use of gloves except in a medical setting. There was an interesting clip on FB a few months back when a doctor showed how deadly they can actually be. Hand washing and sanitiser should be the way to go.

Maisemoo, I hate the flimsy fine, one size fits all gloves, being handed out at Lemar, which I sprayed thoroughly before shopping. But I've no objection at all to the "surgical" type of glove whilst shopping, because I treat them as a second skin and spray accordingly. I also spray the handle of the trolley thoroughly first. Young girl taking the temps was engrossed.

Slightly off topic but the rate of Covid is now marginally higher per capita in the north than In the south and Is rising at a faster rate. This probably explains why the south figures are no longer quoted on the LGC website.
It’s a terrible shame that having defeated the virus earlier and splashing it all over various websites the government has since been so inept.

So do all the shops / supermarkets that take our temperatures check all their staff temperatures every day as well? Just a thought.
