Electric workers union take action!

Wow,the union workers have cut off electric to The Interior ministry for unpaid bills of 2million Tl.
They are also threatening others institutions and buisness who owe large amounts.

I remember they did the same a few years ago. Didn’t last long. They were ordered to restore the electric to the government places that had been cut off. I was doing my residency in Lefkosa when it was cut. We were told to come back another day.

Why should they get away with it. Any one else would be cut off after 450tl went unpaid.

I remember this - here in Dipkarpaz in 2011 - we had no water as the Belediye had there electric cut and therefore the pumps for the water were out of action!!
