Valentine Poetry competition - have a go

SAINT Valentine's Day, is coming on the 14th February and giv es all lovers a chance to show how much they care for the object of their affections. CYPRUS STAR invites everyone to take part in a competition top write a poem for their loved one.
the winner will be treated to a free meal for two people and a bottle of wine at George Restaurant & Bar in Girne.
Here is one to get you started:

The rose is red, the violet's blue,
The honey's sweet, and so are you.
Thou art my love and I am thine;
I drew thee to my Valentine:
The lot was cast and then I drew,
And Fortune said it should be you

So don’t delay, get those pens at the ready.
Entries must be received before 12 noon on Monday, February 4. They may be emailed to: news@starint.net or alternatively handed into the Cyprus Star office in Karaoğlanoğlu.
The winner will be announced on Friday, February 8.

and by the way, I did not write the above poem and I am not even allowed to enter. But then my beloved can fork out for chips for two - it is the thought that counts. But for the rest of you, - have a go - your loved one will love you for ever if you win! And may well love you more for just trying.

Sorry i shuold have made it clear that this is a Cyprus Star competitionn and nothing to do wth Kibom (except that I am posting it on here.)

as to the name, I guess you must use your own, or a Pseudonym would be o.K as long as there was a contact number so that you cold be informed of your prize!

The joint competition with KibKom and the Star is for the hotel stay!
