Paying for car tax

My car is due to be taxed on 28/02/2013 but I will be away from the TRNC until 21/03/2013. Does anyone know how long we are able to exceed the given date before being fined and if fined, how much the fine is?

You have 1 month from your expiery date to pay it, if you look @ your Tax disc it will say to be payed in March. Hope this helps Buddy.

Last year I got confused between our two cars and ended paying the tax on one of them 3 months late. The woman at the desk added 30tl (as a fine) and backdated it. It may be that different office workers interpret the rules differently!!

THe tax will defiantly be back dated, but with your dates should be OK
