You might try Pooltech - not far from Cratos on your side...

Thanks Keith, the last 4 times I have been there the guy cannot understand what I am after, I speak very little Turkish, his English is OK, but he never seems to know what I want. I am going to Wines of the World tomorrow so will try Pools r us if I can find it?

Mollie, it's only a few hundred metres further up the road on the same side - not far past Starling Supermarket.

Ring me on 0533 830 1835 if you can't find it, and I'll pop my head out of my hole in the ground and show you ;)

I used it for the first time a few weeks ago from recommendations on this forum,

Basically it looks and feels like a lump of jelly, its about three inches in diameter and about and inch thick. You put it in the basket of your pool pump and run it for a few hours initially. my pool was cloudy, it captures all the particles and clears the pool. It worked for me but the pool shop where I got it from is out of stock, its about 14 Euros. It lasts about 30 days.

It is a floculent, looks like a loo block, you put it in the basket strainer.
Google 'jolly gel' for information.

Theres also a product called Floc C, tablets that sit in the skimmer or pump basket. Pooltech Catalkoy sell it, they didn't stock Jolly Gel last time I asked.

So, found the shop it was closed! Went to Cyprus pools they had it, plus a free box of really nice truffles so that was a bonus.

Thank you people, sounds like a good thing to have. Will try it as soon as the pool is built - lol.

I bought several packets back from the UK recently. It cost me £12 per box. I have 2 spare. Please message me if you need. It’s an excellent product, but I use it during the swimming months. It puts a lovely sparkle on the pool. I will buy more, if and when I ever get back to the UK again!

Heard this stuff makes your sand tank all gunky and sticky. Doesn't Flock achieve the same results but without the gunk?
