Hi Deniz,
If all else fails and/or you only need to use the letter a few times you could always copy and paste the following :
Ş - for capitals
ş - for lower case

Type in the four-digit code given below for the character you require
Select the four-digit code (using your mouse or the cursor keys, just as you would for any other text within a
document) and press Alt + X together, then release the Alt and X keys.
Ş 015E
ş 015F

I can only get this to work in a word document .. Copy & paste if an email ..

ŞŞşş copied & pasted from a word document .. (I'm learning something)

I will instruct you to install your own permanent “ş” and “Ş” printing key on the keyboard – very easy so please follow:

Click on the “insert” tab in top Word panel. You will see a new tab list appearing underneath. Click on “signs” or “special characters” and you will have a sign/character table opening up. (For the table to appear using Microsoft Offfice Word 7, after clicking on “signs” represented by a large Ω at the far right end of the panel, you will need to click on “all signs” or “all characters” at the bottom).

In the opening table, select the first tab on top (not the second tab that says “special characters”). In the top left character window (font type) select “Arial” and using the scroll bar of the table scroll down until you see the “ş” and “Ş” characters. Clicking on either one will insert the character in your document.

To allocate a key on your keyboard so that you can use your keyboard to print these:

Click on the “ş” character in the table so that it is highlighted.
At the bottom left of the table, click on the “shortcut key” buton.
Another dialog box will open.
The cursor will be flashing in a text box labelled “enter a new short cut key”.
Hold down “alt” buton on your keyboard and pres the “s” key once – the textbox will show “alt+s”
Move down to the bottom right of the box and click on the “allocate” (or “add”) buton.
Close the dialog box and the special characters box – return to document.

From now on - every time you want a “ş” character on your document, you can hold down the “alt” key and press “s”- you will have a “ş” printed on your document.

If you wanta capital “Ş”, and you want something easy to remember i.e. related to the small “ş” shortcut, you can always enter another short cut using the same method above. But this time, instead of the “alt” key, hold down the “alt gr” key (right of the space bar) and pres “s”.

IN TED MONTGOMERY YOU GET
Š = Alt0138
š = Alt0154
If I can't look at my printed sheets for, then I go to google translate, set it to Turkish - English and in the bottom left corner of the left box is a symbol for a keyboard. Click on it and use it to type what you want. I then copy and paste to where I want them

Big Oz's answer is brilliant!! going to do that!!

But maybe you find this usefull if you not on your own computer
