No, the rules have not changed. Sadly people do not seem to care any more.

Re: Face masks
I can assure you that Mr Pound has not changed. Yesterday I mistakenly left my mask hanging from my ear and within seconds the woman taking temps and another assistant called out to me to put my mask on. My pharmacist has tightened up again and now has barrier just inside the door. However, some cafe owners pull up a mask if a foreigner enters, but totally ignores it if a local enters. All assistants in small Ilelli still wear them all the time. Starlings at our end, are if and but. The men sorting out veg have them hanging from their chins and they are filthy, but check out girls wear them constantly. The Government needs to make another pronouncement pdq.

North Cyprus News - Face MaskThe Ministry of Health has announced that it is mandatory to wear masks and maintain social distancing in all public areas whether open or confined. The minimum distance being 1.5 metres.
Fines of 1/10 of the monthly minimum wage will be imposed on those failing to observe the rule.
A statement by the Ministry of Health said that authorities responsible for public areas, such as shops and shopping malls, businesses, workplaces, owners of entertainment places and organisers of events are obliged to ensure social distancing measures.
Failure to enforce health and safety rules will attract a fine of one month’s minimum wage and the place of business will be closed down for 24 hours

Re: Face masks
I never thought that I would say this but it is time to Name & Shame if any place of business is not adhering to the rules! Especially, restaurants/cafes/bars should have regular checks without warning.
