Big bird poo!
We are being bombarded with bird poo on our conservatory windows and patio, it's covered. We think it is the big crows on our roof, very noisy early in the morning. Is there anything which will deter them??

A ladder up the side of your house so that your cat (or next door's) can get onto the roof....

Try the imitation birds of prey that are attached to your house via a pole and flap around!

Ersem, I think that is the name of the yapi market. Also, I heard the Sports equipment shop on left going towards Lefkosa from Girne roundabout sell them.

I’ve seen people tie old cds tied in a way that they can spin around. I think the light catching them randomly can put birds off settling. Not sure what artists work best, maybe Barry Manilow?

Certainly the twirling CD's have an effect, its the flashing light which they don't like, but whether they are better than the artificial squawking bird, I doubt it. I would think the squawk would drive you nuts after a time though. It certainly did when we were having lunch at a restaurant down by the sea in Girne.

Personally, I would go for The Byrds.EnjoyingTheSun wrote: ↑Thu 31 Dec 2020 5:18 pmI’ve seen people tie old cds tied in a way that they can spin around. I think the light catching them randomly can put birds off settling. Not sure what artists work best, maybe Barry Manilow?

That'll work.
Pussycat dolls should do the trick too.
Re The Byrds I think it might be ok as long as the CDs Turn, Turn, Turn.
