Good for the inside of windows, as it sucks the excess water into a compartment for disposal, rather than onto the floor.

Karcher i think we're the original ones but other manufacturers are now doing them such as Vileda, Vileda improved on the design by having a pivoting head, something that would be useful when getting to the bottom of a glass on say a patio door. Whatever the make they are very good, have only see them for sale on the south side.

We purchased ours from a shop in Famagusta, can't remember the name of it now but we got the address from the guy who owns Acdinc which is three doors down from the Red Ribbon in Karakum. I think that there is also a stockist in Nicosia, he will be able to point you in the right direction.

We have one that we brought over from the U.K. They are great for cleaning your windows and shower screens. Rather than using an expensive window cleaner I make up a solution using water, white vinegar and a little washing up liquid. Spray the window with this then use the vacuum to dry off.

Thank you for your responses. I understand Coban yapi market has had them but when I enquired they said they were unlikely To get any before March 2021. I’ ll keep looking but it looks as though I’ll have to wait. Thanks again

There is an authorised Karcher stockist in Lefkosa near Metehan. At the last roundabout instead of going to the border take the next exit towards Guzelyurt the shop is a few hundred metres on the left.
I would not be without mine as well as windows & shower screens it is also brilliant for glass top tables & granite worktops.

PS. They are brilliant. We have a Karcher and a Vileda and as said above the head on the Vileda is pivoting which is useful but otherwise both great.

"Brang" my from the UK. Been using it for years. The easiest way to clean windows with no smears. Just water and a drop of washing up liquid. Adding vinegar sound like a good idea, will try that next time. Going over edges of window with a clean dry cloth eliminates any water marks.

Anyone know the cost of these miracle workers. Last time I had a window cleaner it cost 450tl but have to admit it was inside and out, plus the shutters, so in retrospect it probably wasn't so bad. Any comparisons?.

I bought 1 as a Christmas present a couple of years ago, wife did not seem impressed.
On the other hand I bought her a new fridge this year, thought that was a failure but every time she opens it her face lights up.

Just purchased the last one in stock from Tektan. They say could be a few months before they get them in again. (This is what Conan told me as well). All I need now is some ‘get up and go’. Maybe tomorrow, it is a new toy after all!

I don't think you'll regret it silverfir. Hot soapy water and as Soner said a clean dry cloth for the edges. So much more satisfying than smeary windows
