I would not even bother to try, not sure there are any Apple iPhone shops here. My iPhone died a couple of weeks ago, went and got a lovely new Samsung galaxy.... very pleased with it, and the service when I bought it.

When l said l am not interested in the iPhone model perhaps l should have added l am not interested in Samsung or any other make of phone.

There will be technicians here in the TRNC who can provide an iPhone battery replacement service.

l am hopeful someone here can provide pertinent information.

Oh ok best of luck. I still have my iPhone so if someone can recommend a reasonably priced replacement battery for it I will maybe get it replaced.

Someone told me friday that there's a new shop in Alsancak that does all these kind of repairs to many different brands of phones,its the old Lefon ladies clothes shop on the same parade as soulist bar across from Lemar or the bronze lady.

There was certainly at least one shop in Girne that would replace IPhone batteries but they wanted to send the phone away and you'd get it back in a week.
I've had it done in the UK and its about a 15 minute job so I passed.

I had an IPhone 6 and IPhone 5 battery replaced in December in Lefkosa near the main hospital. The place was recommended by a Turkish Cypriot friend and I can confirm they were great.

Drive past the hospital to the roundabout. Turn left. Drive to the end of the road and turn left. The place is a couple of hundred metres an the left with a large sign outside. You can’t miss it.

Very friendly, a little English and it was done while I waited. I’ve no doubt it was not a genuine battery but both phones are fine. The IPhone 6 cost 200TL if I remember correctly.

Thats great, I'm sure there are loads of people who are in same position. I shall be popping in to see if he can replace a Kindle battery. If he can that would have saved me purchasing an expensive Samsung tablet!!
