Re: PCR testing
We had pcr tests done at the end of December at Dr Suat Gunsel (Near East) Hospital, Karakum. It took us about half an hour to drive there from Karsiyaka. We walked down to the A & E department, filled in a form outside the department, straight in and tested. we were the only people there to be tested. You do not actually go into the hospital. It was quick, staff were wearing masks etc and we felt totally safe throughout. Went back the following morning to collect our certificates. I know its not west of Kyrenia, but it was efficient. I think it cost 120tl each or thereabouts.

Re: PCR testing
We did the same, and it was a doddle but make sure you take either driving licence or passport because the form asks for the number, but no-one asks to see it themselves. Form also asks for Mother and Fathers name and your address and phone number. . You receive an invoice and then a receipt and are told you can phone for the result (number to ring is immediately above a 5 or in my case 6 figure number on the LHS) 12 to 15 hours later. The numbers are just above your full name on the receipt. In our case it was 300tl for the two of us. You can go later and you receive a form duly stamped to say you were negative. We actually went back 10 days later after self isolating, because as you know the PCR only tells you were negative on the day. Friends of ours went back and were retested after self isolating for 10 days, just to be on the safe side.

I think that sausageandpash probably means the Erduran Laboratory, near to the traffic lights where you turn towards Bellapais.
I have seen a sign outside that mentions PCR tests.
