To counter the government's apparent wish to make Kibtek seem unprofitable in the lead up to the likely privitisation, El Sen intend to do everything in their powers to collect the debts.

Today El Sen cut the electricity to these government buildings. Their debts are given alongside.

Lefkoşa:
Ministry of Agriculture : 22,277,653 TL
Ministry of Employment and Social Security : 376,614 TL
Ministry of Internal Affairs : 1,682,290 TL

Girne:
Post Office : 11,806 TL
Department of Archive Research : 33,782 TL
Transport Ministry's Harbour Management Office : 272,391 TL
Department of Employment : 26,136 TL
Department of Social Services : 12,983 TL
Department of Antiquities and Museums : 63,155 TL
Apakan Sports hall : 12,421 TL
20 Temmuz Stadium : 10,788 TL

Güzelyurt :
Güzelyurt's main Administrative Building : 16,000 TL
Income Tax Office : 15,000 TL
Fatih Mosque : 83,000 TL

Mağusa :
Mağusa Department of the Environment : 35,000 TL
Post Office : 13,600 TL
Customs' Office : 30,535 TL
Harbour Management Office : 51,730 TL
Mağusa Courts : 32,613 TL
Deeds' Office : 28,500 TL
Income tax office : 15,685 TL

İskele:
Mehmetçik Administrative Building : 11,806 TL
İskele Department of Agriculture Office : 3,200 TL
İskele Department of Social Services : 3,192 TL

Where else in the world would you find the unions doing the managements work for them?????
How much longer can this excuse for a government survive.

Or have they already been put back on !!!

If they want their money back, they should keep them cut off until payment is made !!!!
Thats what they do with their domestic customers.

It would be interesting to know the age of some of this debt and how much is actually down to the current government. I wonder where we would be had the last lot managed to get their wish of a united Cyprus!
Some are wise and some otherwise.....

THis is just the tip of the Iceberg, I know to two large hotels that owe 6 figure sums ti kibtec, they should cut of there supplies as well,
