UK team Ineos lead the PRADA Cup/Americas Cup
If you like competitive racing of any sort.
I recommend you catch up on You tube grand prix sail yacht racing from New Zealand where UK team Ineos led by Sir Ben Ainsle are winning the Prada Cup series and could well progress to compete for the Americas Cup against holders New Zealand.
Team Ineos sail full hydro foiling ( immensely expensive) grand prix yachts at incredible speeds with close quarter sailing video coverage.
During warm up session in December Team Ineos were dead in the water. They didn't win a single race. With grand prix team spending and team members the team have turned it around and now lead the series.
The American yacht had a frightening crash and almost sank.
The last race UK v Italy saw several changes of lead with very close quarter racing and tactics.

Given that the America's cup yacht race is yet to be held between the 6th and 21st of March 2021, please send me your crystal ball so I may place a huge bet on the winner!

I think this is the qualifying stage but no doubt the original poster will be cheering for the european boat - which is an orange inflatable capable of doing calais to dover in 3 hours with a crew of 62.

Sir Ben Ainsley the UK Olympian sailor and a real fighter is the best man for the job.
I don't think we've had such an opportunity to win the cup back for many many years.
Worth a punt certainly but the odds have fallen significantly since the disastrous start we had in the warm up races.
Hf...you're so kind.

That was the Prada cup not the America's cup. In the time twixt the two different race competitions, Ineos rejigged their whole boat to start winning. I did chuckle when Magic USA boat overturned! No one hurt.

Indeed.
I watched the pre series in December and it all looked very bad for team Ineos UK. Didn't win a single race.
The turnaround has been nothing but extraordinary and interviews with the team show a level of professionalism and commitment.
Ineos has won every single race of the series to date.
UK Ineos must now be favourites to secure the PRADA cup and yes then of course its a head to head with New Zealand.
The birds eye view of the course and close quarter sailing whilst almost flying at almost 60mph is breathtaking.
It is great to see the crowds on the shore as formula one yacht racing gathers momentum.
