Have year old a/c inverters and when first got them last Jan, used to heat the rooms up lovely. Now put them on and not feeling as getting as warm as they did last year!.
Do they need regasing? Or just get someone to look at them? Still under warranty.

Have you cleaned the filters properly? If they are blocked the thermostat will shut the unit off before it throws any heat out.

Worth lifting the outer plastic cover, normally hinged at top, outer filters do get blocked but the crap can get past them and really block the fins of the unit inside. Regardless of the cooling/ heating requirements you should feel airflow from the unit If not the case then it could be that the unit has a leak and lost its refrigerant gas. Air con man ( or woman) needed.

If they're still under warranty,
don't touch them.
Only get the supplier to check them.

That's happening to two of ours. One Inverter upstairs is perfect and chucks out masses of heat almost immediately, one is half and half and water outside comes out in dribbles, but one in the living room is very poor and disposes buckets of water outside, just like in the summer. Think its time to check on Warranty dates as soon as lockdown is over.

Condensation forming and dropping around the condenser unit ( outside unit ) of a heat pump a/c can also be caused by dirty air filters on the evaporator ( inside unit ). They are very easy to remove and keep clean and are the most common cause of a/c failure, both for cooling and heating. If air flow is restricted by dirty filters then you can end up with frozen coils at either end of the circuit depending upon heat or cool setting, leading to loss of heat/ cooling.
