Rental Tax

Trying to help a friend in UK and her tenants by registering a contract today at Girne Tax Office so they ( a young couple with a small child and a new baby) can stay and hopefully work when they can get back to it cleaning and casino, they have been here working and paying rent, for a couple of years but have been unable to pay over the year just only just now and again when they could get work, but only having enough for food and utility bills. she has tried to help them and not asked for any.
The friend has said that this is no problem and she could not in any way ask them to leave at this time under any circumstances' it does not matter about the rent. She can not come here due to virus and elderly parent care in UK
So all relevant paperwork taken in all correct except I signed on her behalf but this was not acceptable Got to do power of attorney they said
with no help at all just no we will not accept this I am in no way going to be a power of attorney
So they are getting fined daily
Perhaps I should have signed it in her name making it a false declaration ?
She actually agreed to pay the rental tax on no rent !
I do not think she is able do it online and it seems unfair to pay a Advocate to do this
Not sure what is going to happen.

I raised this last year. They are trying to stop fraud unfortunately people are renting property without the owner's permission Poa can be done very cheaply just time consuming. A noter can draw it up here you send it to your friend in the UK. She gets it witnessed and sends to the trnc consulate and then back to you.
