Are there any retailers in TRNC selling non stick or silicone oven liners.
(To place at bottom of oven and on one of the solid oven trays)

My advice would be to use aluminium foil, and just replace it as necessary - I once had one of those silicone non-stick sheets weld itself to the bottom of the oven!

What a mess, and a hell of a job trying to get it off...

If you've oven heats from bottom and top, probably best to put any kind of liner on a tray, so that it doesn't stick to the oven floor. Afraid I have no idea where you can get the silicone stuff here. I've got silicone baking mats and oven liners which I line trays with, bought in UK and and oven liners from Lidl south side.
Have you tried in Mr Pound Extra? I know I've bought small silicone kitchen stuff from Mr Pound in the past.

KC, been there and got the T shirt. Would never ever use a silicone sheet on the base again. At the time though I did think that perhaps it wasn't the real thing?

Acacia (or anyone else), did you ever find the silicone oven/tray liners here? I haven't been looking yet, but noticed that some of the cheaper ones I bought from Lidl (no idea what they are made from, but not silicone) are needing replacing.

I agree re fake silicon sold here, its all over the place. I have bought spatulas, ice cube makers and other "silicon" ware, and it is absolutely useless. I have also bought odd bits and pieces from Sha which is genuine, but never anything as large as sheets to put on base of an oven.

Stick with amazon. That's where mine came from several years ago and it's still going strong in the bottom oven. The top oven as stated above is top and bottom heated so I don't use one in there!

Thank you BB & Pcat. I don't want them to line oven, as mine heats from bottom and top too. I've still got a couple of very good silicone liners for large trays and do not want to cut them, as they weren't cheap. The cheaper ones I have were good for small trays, but starting to get tears. Will just have to use parchment paper until I can get some from a reliable source.
