Like I posted I am happy to be proved wrong. If travelling from U.K. to TRNC means the U.K. is still classed as a yellow country despite the transit in Turkey, which is currently amber then all the better.
I'll let you know. I'm doing exactly that on 8th June.
Talk about being a guinea pig!
Heathrow check-in with Turkish Airlines - show vaccine certificate & PCR test result.
Flight & arrival at Istanbul no issues.
Departures gate at Istanbul - Same vaccine certificate & PCR check.
Ercan arrival - same paperwork check plus contact form. Also a lateral flow test - result given to me in 4 minutes.
Hope all goes well TAC. We are just lining up the dominos for our flight into LCA. Be interested to know about Cyprus Flight Form as there seems to be a lot of chat on other forums about the address provided on the form. We are hoping there is no problem putting our TRNC address on it?.
When you have to show PCR test at the border does it have to be printed or can it be the result sent to you on your phone.
When I travelled a couple of weeks ago, albeit, not to North Cyprus, everything needed to be printed off. If possible, I would recommend 2 copies of things like your pcr test. A couple who were near us in the queue ran into trouble at immigration as the check in people had taken the copy of the pcr they had.
Ok there was one slight change to what we was told we gave a south address which worked fine if any one needs it then I will give it to by email
The change was at the crossing to the north side we had to fill in a address for the north we then had to go to the hospital and do a rapid test and had to wait for the results which cost nothing and was only 10 minutes
This was all done by ossi taxi so no great problem
I'm leaving now to go find myself....if I arrive before I get back, please ask me to wait!

Thanks for the above info TAC. Do you know if RoC immigration will refuse landing/entry if you put your TRNC address on Cyprus Flight Pass?. We have UK and EU passports not sure if that makes any difference. Hoping to fly early July, "Delta" variant depending

How come you had to do a rapid test? We’re you just selected at random?
Also, how did you prove your address in the north? We have a document that we received when we bought the house, like a receipt. Do you think that will do the trick or are they looking for something specific?
Interesting but no good for returning back to the UK VIA Turkey
I am too flying out on the 11th June flying in to south and returning south.
Hopefully uk will be green for my return
If you are flying on June 11th from the UK to Larnaca/Paphos with a TRNC destination and are flying back to the UK from Larnaca/Paphos, quite apart from the Vaccination and testing requirements of the 3 places involved what are you doing about;
1) The TRNC destination on the passenger location form? How do you know the ROC will permit entry at Larnaca/Paphos? Or the airline allow you to board the aircraft in the UK if there is any doubt.
2) Crossing into the TRNC, and in some ways more importantly, the crossing back into the ROC. Are non Cypriot UK passport holders able to cross back and forth? I am advised by the ROC consulate in London they are not.
I am hoping you can say what you have done to overcome what I think are unresolved problems.Or have I missed something and am concerned about problems that do not exist?
Good questions.
There are plenty of reports on other North Cyprus websites of people arriving in the south and transiting across the border to the north. North Cyprus taxi firms are also doing pick ups and helping at border etc to ensure the rules are followed.
So it is happening.
However your questions are valid as on arrival in the south an address has to be given. Some have put down a hotel in the south, others have even put an address in the north. At present it seems that people are managing to cross to the TRNC. Of course there is always the issue of the return at a future date. The south are at present giving 90 day in 180 day stays.
It’s personal choice as to wether you come in to the south and hope all goes well. Not heard any reports of difficulty boarding. arrival or on entry, but some people have been quizzed on exit from the south.
However; we all know that this could all change very quickly and perhaps the hassle of dealing with two sets of rules and immigration officials makes entry via the south a bit of a risk for some.
Hello Posh,
Can you point me to the sites that have the information about arriving at LCA and crossing to the TRNC please. I have been following the several threads on here but cannot find the answers, from experience, of the following;
Tourist flying BA from LHR to LCA, taxi across to TRNC Hotel. Return trip Taxi from TRNC cross to ROC and go to LCA for return flight.
Some of this experience has been reported but I am looking at what happens when you put a TRNC Hotel address on the Pass form?
Thank you Dalartokat. Unfortunately, the above does not provide any clarity. We are in the same position as James, seeking a bit of reassurance from anyone who has travelled lately or travelling shortly as to what address they are placing on the Cyprus flight pass. And just one last question, does anyone know if a 'Taxi on hire" is exempt from current curfew regulations?, as our flight lands just after midnight in LCA in a couple of weeks, if of course we are not on the Red List
Hi sorry not be on here as we were waiting for internet to be switch on
So to answer a few questions first I will give you a south address just message me
When you do your Cyprus flight pass put the address I will give you
You show this to the passport control with your passport the wife said he didn't even look at it
The taxi picks you up at the airport and takes you through the green line where there is no Greek check point only Turkish there you fill in another form and it ask where you are staying you then put your north address the taxi driver deals with this he then takes you to the hospital for your ten minute test but I have heard this is no longer done it is very easy to cross over you don't need to own a house so tourist are crossing over you go back the same way when you need to go back to the uk or where ever you are going

Friends of mine landed at Ercan last week from UK. Each had a folder to show they had received both their jabs in UK and all their negative tests prior to departure. Went through passport control, then to Carousel, then to waiting taxi and home. No one asked to see anything. Obviously arriving at Ercan is a lot less stressful.

I would love to fly in and out of Ercan but am only coming out for 2 weeks and I don't want to quarantine in a hotel when I fly back.
The burning question is when will Turkey be recategorised to Amber. I imagine that there are quite a few of us who will travel to N. Cyprus when this happens and just put up with the home quarantine on return to the UK. As far as I am concerned, I think that travelling via Larnaca or Paphos could have too many potential problems.
Maisiemoo, perhaps I didn't explain properly but arriving in to Ercan, meant they were coming home. Its the fact that NO ONE asked for any paperwork on arrival, that was the amazing factor.

I flew to TRNC last week into Ercan and intend to fly back to the UK out of Larnaca next month.
Just heard…appears no problem with late night arrivals from Larnaca..coming over the border into curfew time.. as Taxis get special permission from police
Has anybody with a UK passport, completed the Pass document with a TRNC hotel or destination, flown from the UK to Larnaca, got a taxi across to the North and arrive at their destination without let or hindrance ?
Even better would be someone who has done this trip and returned from the North to Larnaca and flown back to UK similarly unimpeded?
Despite all the threads on crossing the Green Line I cannot find an answer to these questions or reports of experience which are and will be basic for any UK tourist.
There is a recent post on FB from a couple of people who have put their address in the North on the Cyprus Flight Pass and encountered no problems when landing in Larnaca.
As the Cyprus Flight Pass is a legal document I intend putting in a North Cyprus address and reason for visiting as seeing friends and family. I am only coming out for 2 weeks so seems a reasonable reason!
I fully understand your reasoning and conclusions. There is too a specific paragraph on the form which asks you to declare that you have answered all the questions correctly and honestly.
I, among many I'm sure, would love to know how you get on with the whole trip.
Is your trip imminent ? I wish you all the best whenever it is.
A friend landed there 3 days ago and went to the eu section and scanned his UK passport - got his photo printed and then showed it to passport control who waved him through.
Looks like the 'eu' passports are still working at the moment and will save you an hour at the airport.

Will certainly give that a go if the queues are busy.
I see the ROC has announced that the PCR test will be waived for holders of NHS letters or APP showing the details of the two jabs. There are of course details around this but it means that coming via Larnaca will be easier through the ROC than entry to the North which still requires the PCR.
Nearly there! Source was HMG.
To save me trawling through all the posts etc, what are the latest rules for entering the ROC from the UK and transiting via Turkey to Ercan. I've had both jabs and have a villa. Thanks

You are probably best off going to the website below;
We finally made it back home. We are very happy. It was obviously more stressful than normal, but we were prepared and had everything in place. To be honest, absolutely everything went to plan, so many thanks to all of the people who have contributed to this thread and others with their valuable advice. We even got 90 days on our visa for the north.
Massive thanks to the kibkom member who has been doing my grocery shopping over the last day or two and dropped it off within an hour of us arriving home. Words cannot say how grateful we are. Unbelievable kindness to go out of her way for strangers.
Btw hedge-fund. Which airline did your last leg (IST to Ercan)?
I did it all on one booking on Turkish Airlines' website so I wouldn't see my cases until Ercan.
There was a hefty layover at Istanbul so we pre-booked the Yotel and got 6 hours sleep before the 07.05 to Ercan.
Pretty sure our flight times in Sept with TA are similar.
Initially we only had a 2hr stop over at Istanbul but have now been told flight to Ercan doesn’t leave until 7am.
Was looking at options for the 6hr wait and considered airport lounge and Yotel.
Can you let us know how Yotel was? Did you pre book and if so how long in advance or just wait until arrived in Istanbul?
Feel free to pm.

Yotel was functional and clean. Room had everthing you need to get your head down for a few hours & then shower before next flight.
I signed up for membership on their website which gives you 10% discount. I believe you can pay by the hour. You pay when you check in (but there is a no show charge I think)
I've tried to load photos I took but it says file is too large to post.
Hi Everyone,
I emailed them 1 hour ago and just received this response, hope its helpful?
