Car change of ownership ? At Girne tax office

I have searched the forum for advice on selling a car privately. Getting different information. So now confused ! Has anyone done the change of ownership at the Girne tax office or do we still have to go to Lefkoşa ? Can’t find any up to date information on government websites either .

Does anyone know for sure if we can do the car change of ownership in Girne? After searching and posting on this forum I have read conflicting information. So now confused ! Government website hasn’t been updated so not sure what information is correct. Thanks

Yes you can do it at Girne as I did it a couple of months ago.

Yes we did as well at Girne - need both parties there, the form completed with I think a 22 tl stamp on it, the vehicle registration document, muhtar’s letter for purchasers once it was our turn was quite a quick process.
