This Saturday, starting promptly at 5pm, there will be "Science show for 7-to-99-year-olds" in the Unesco Conference Hall at the University of Nicosia ... which is short drive from the Metehan crossing. The presenter is Norwegian-born (I think) Viken Tavitian.

The entry fee is 6 Euros, but could be money well spent if you have a child lacking enthusiasm for studying Science.

It should be noted that in the above youtube video Viken Tavitian is merely explaining to fellow educators his approach to the teaching (or should that be enjoying) of Science - the video does not show one of his "shows".
