Help Needed
I'm posting this on behalf of Sam (Daisy Dukes from Embargoed forum).
Some weeks ago she took in a puppy rescued from a kicking by Karsiyaka village kids. She doesn't have room to give it a permanent home alongside her own 2 dogs nor time to care for a puppy so young. She works hard and it is a great strain to be around enough to properly look after it. One newcomer promised it a home and Sam agreed to foster it for a month until they were settled - now, unfortunately, their circumstances have changed and Sam has become too attached to give it over to Kar et. al. She has made it her mission to find a good home for "Bojo" (don't ask - I don't know).
She has taken the pup to the vet and it is healthy, wormed and vaccinated up to date. The vet estimates it as 4 months old. It will be about Jack Russell size and I have met it several times and can vouch for a very sweet and friendly personality - and to me a bonus ...it is not yappy.
If anyone can help then Sam will be immensely grateful - you can contact her on 0533 833 1292. Let's show her that Kibkom can help more than Embargoed.

Outstanding Kibkomers!
As of 10 minutes ago Bojo has a new home with somebody who saw this thread.
Maybe KAR should start posting photos here!

That is brilliant news. Well done to Sam for taking her in the first place and also to her new owners.

Re: Help Needed
that is wonderful news, and great to know that kibkom is more than just a forum for advertisements (as has been suggested elsewhere - heaven forfend!), I think it is a good idea for KAR to post on here. They are more than welcome to do it, and if it means that more animals can be found loving homes then it will make the purpose of KibKom even more worthwhile. so perhaps someone would like to suggest to KAR they do this. I know at least a couple of KAR workers are KibKomer,s so please take this as a message to the committee for consideration.
I hope that bojo will have a long and happy life.
As I said - Great news.

Well done Sam for looking after her in the first place, I got a lump in my throat when I first say her picture she looks adorable, but I am in the UK.
She looks so comfortable there, reminds me of my Border Collie who we lost about 10 years ago now, she loved to be on the sofa.
Hope she will bring you much happiness, thank you from me.x

Re: Help Needed
Sadly Owl Lady most of us who are able and willing to care for strays already have as many as we can cope with,
and would be unlikely to look at a site devoted to adopting animals. As it was I had to walk away ,take several deep breaths and remind myself of the registrations fees I paid last month and the Vets fees I have to find for my three next month, to prevent myself offering to take this little charmer. So glad she has found a home.
I think the INDIVIDUALS who spend time money and other resources they can probably ill afford in rescueing and temporarily caring for an animal until it can be found a permanent home are a special case and deserve and are enttiled to the extra exposure they get from the main Board.
