Returning back to the UK

Hi, please can someone confirm what is needed to return back to the UK from TRNC via Istanbul. I know that a 2 day LFT test has to be booked and entered in the passenger locator form but is anything needed for landing in Istanbul or as we are just transiting are nothing else (like tests) required?

My partner left here a month ago and things may have changed however, you are right on what you described, in addition I am sure you are aware you need a PCR test 72 hours before you leave the Island, make sure the printed copy is in English and Turkish, you will need your ada pass (updated) for your return.

Its always wise to have copies printed out of everything, IE: your pre booked LFT, your vaccination card if you have been vaccinated. If there is anything else I am sure someone on here will chime in.

We returned to UK on the 16th Oct via Istanbul.
You will need to carry the following paperwork preferably in printed form:
1. Your NHS double vaccination certificate.
2. Your UK locator form complete with the 2 day LFT booking reference.
3. Receipt for payment of the LFT.
All three items will be checked during check in at Ercan.
On arrival in Istanbul you will not be asked for anything other than your boarding pass. However, when you go the gate for your next leg, a very thorough check will be carried out of all your documentation.
As a matter of interest, on arrival in the UK, we were not asked for anything and proceeded through passport control normally !
