Channel 4 on demand, problem viewing

Is anyone else having any problems viewing 4 on demand. My internet is working fine, I can view BBC and ITV, but channel 4 is coming up with a message, erroe viewing this item. I hide my IP address so its not that. Any advise would be appreciated, new series of Black mirror just started and it is very good.
Thank you

I had exactly the same problem yesterday - tried through internet explorer and their ipad app with no joy. Hopefully they sort it out soon.

Thanks Smiler, tried again today, will try later or maybe tomorrow, always good to know it is not just one person having a problem.

A while ago I also was having trouble not being able to get Channel 4s programmes. So I contacted them by email. Straight away they emailed me back and stated in 24 hrs someone would sort it, and they did, no problem. It has happened several times and next day sorted.

Just to clarify foodie, was that channel 4 or multimax you emailed?

Hi

Have doen some testing. It does seem like there is some kind of issue currently with 4oD and the free MM manual VPN. I tried with a couple of other third party VPNs and was able to access 4od ok. With the free MM one was getting error message. We are trying to investigate this issue as I type but to be honest we do not yet know why it is happening and its not affecting things like iplayer or itv player or channel 5.

'we' in this message must be referring to Erol and all of his multiple personalities.

I have looked into this problem and although I must admit that it was a trivial situation and not one so obvious, it took approx 20 minutes to get to the bottom of it.

4oD problem with Multimax Free Manual VPN is now fixed. NOTE: You may have to disconnect and reconnect to VPN once for the changes to take effect.

Kemal

ps. okokok, Erol also helped a little, he can have like 5% credit

I always contact whichever channel I am having problems with at the time. Yesterday it was Filmon. I contacted them as both Pick and Really channels kept freezing and buffering and straightaway I had an email saying my problem will be sorted as soon as possible. They also give me a ticket number incase I needed to contact them again meanwhile. Sorry have just realized I pay a private VPN. I do not watch any TV channels through Multimax.
