Re: Flying to the uk from Ercan
Been known for a while OldDog. Reported several times that the receipt will be asked for. BA asked for mine at Larnaca in August, as per advice, I had it printed out and the Air Notam for the return flight to Ercan. All in the detail and planning! Did they overcome the problem this morning?

Surely you dont get the code till you payed.
Travelled via Larnaca accepted the printed sheet with the code ok, which incidentally states is acceptable proof for travel to UK on it in this case.

You'd think it would be obvious but I guess it's possible to put any old code on the PLF, there's no cross check...kerry 6138 wrote: ↑Thu 18 Nov 2021 11:25 pmSurely you dont get the code till you payed.

Having proof of payment is a little less likely, but not impossible, to be forged. Where there's a will, etc.
More airlines are now asking for proof of payment, best to have it, and all the other bumf printed out for a less stressful journey. Devices have a habit of letting you down at check-in.
