I have searched for the information I want but cannot find a definitive answer.
I am aware (I have tried) that I am unable to pay for Residency Health Insurance using my U.K. banking cards. I do not have a local bank (Turkbank) credit card but I do have a local direct debit card.
My question is: am I able to use a local debit card for payment?
Card payment for Gov Health Insurance at Koopbank.

I answered my own question (surprisingly on here). Yes, you can use a local debit card to pay.
My local debit card had not been set up for online purchasing (which is why it didn’t work). My bank noticed I was trying, unsuccessfully, to use my card online & telephoned me. That sorted the issue.
