Can you recommend a tailor/dressmaker?

I'm coming out on 27th May and need to find a tailor/dressmaker for my Brother in law who is an unusual size. He would like linen trousers and cotton shirts that he can leave at my place in Iskele when he visits. Any ideas please?

Exotic fabrics at Karaoglanoglu ( ? spelling ) are very good and reasonable too. The shop is on the left hand side of the main road.

cherryblossom is your BIL going to be with you or are you getting things made for him? The reason I ask is that you will need to be very specific on his measurements if the tailor cannot measure him. We had a suit made for a friend in the UK (he is tall and very large) and it fit like a glove but luckily his brother had taken his measurements and he used to work at a men's outfitters. Anyway, if he is not with you do an online search to see which measurements are important. Hope all this waffle makes sense.

The tailor we used (who also made a suit for my very tall husband) was Pirlanta in the centre of Girne in the road which has the big orange at the top.

I would definitely also recommend Exotic Fabrics, excellent service, quality products, and surprise surprise ready on day quoted, normally next day, but always very quick, good luck, would also make sure you get measurements exact if person being fitted is not attending, good luck.

Thanks carian for confirming back to me.

Also to Joandjelly and Barbieb for recommendations and tips. Yes my Brother in Law is coming out also, with your help sounds like we should be able to get him sorted.

The tailor recommnded in Kara...is Exotic Kumas - thats what the sign says which you will see at the side of the road. It is on the left as you go towards Lapta, after the Karaman turn off, about 100 yards. Have also heard good things about one in central Girne, on the left as you go down the hill of the one way system - just about where the down hill bit starts to flatten out.
