APPEAL OF RUSSIAN SPEAKING CITIZENS
living in the territory
Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

Ukraine was subjected to unjustified and unjust aggression and military attack.

We thank you for your efforts and attempts to prevent this tragedy and war. Unfortunately, your words and deeds were not accepted, which could save thousands of lives and prevent destruction and grief.

We appreciate and approve of your fair decision to close the Black Sea straits to warships. We feel and appreciate your material and moral help. But despite the efforts, the WAR happened.

Today, all of us, both Russians and Ukrainians, and Azerbaijanis and Belarusians, living on the territory of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus among the peaceful and kind population of Cyprus, are horrified and worried about the lives of our compatriots and relatives located in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus.

We ask you not to stop your efforts and steps in the name of restoring PEACE and harmony, preventing the escalation of War and tension in the Black Sea region.

We are sure that your authority and your opportunities are very valuable and important for the world.

Your deeds and efforts to find opportunities to end the fratricidal war will not be in vain, your deeds will be appreciated by our peoples, hundreds of innocent lives will be saved, and the mothers of the rescued soldiers and children will pray for you.

We, all participants of the rally in Girne, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, support your peaceful and just policy. We thank your people for giving us the opportunity to live in peace and security in Cyprus.
