That's it, really: I'm looking for a traditional Cypriot band who play traditional Turkish-Cypriot folk music and the like, for an event. If anyone knows of any that are bookable, please email me with details.

Just in case you receive no replies with direct info., there was a 3 man one playing at Cenap restaurant in Alsancak when we went in early September. Whether they were Cyps or mainlanders I wouldn't know, but there was a great atmosphere, and all the locals were singing and dancing. They speak reasonable English at the restaurant, so probably would be happy to provide you with a contact number.

hello call me - libby 0533 842 1383 - i have turkish friends who organise all these sort of things at great rates - they can sory you out. Oral speaks a little english...but he is defo your man.
