Can I purchase a package for a call to the UK on page as you go

I bought a package for 165 tl and after 5 minutes to dwp my call was ended and a message not enough call time left I thought the package I purchased gave me a largish number of international call minutes

The package I have with kktcell is 169 TL it is supposed to give you 100 mins to local lines and 50 mins to international lines, it is called GNC Social International Small Package, I don't know if you get 50 mins as I have never really tried it, it is just incase of emergency, I use WhatsApp or viber free of charge

I agree but the dwp do not have a whatsapp service

I usually use Skype to call UK public offices, it rarely costs more than a few pence. It cost 4p for a 21 minute call to the Inland Revenue the other week.

You're probably better off using Skype - I've been here 16 years and that's what I do.

Cost is around 1.7p per minute to landlines. (unless it's gone up - I leave it to you to check)

You do need Internet access, but free WiFi in a bar should cope with a voice call - after all, they use it for streaming TV...

World Packages (Turkcell) from 30mins to 300mins per month, can call any number outside Turkey including mobiles....good for a one off call as you can cancel the package straight away (for postpaid and prepaid)
