Residency Paperwork
I haven't been out of the TRNC for 5 years but have the residency paperwork which was obtained on line. Do I carry this around with me to show border control on return to Ercan. Is there anything else I need other than Passport?

Re: Residency Paperwork
Came thru' Ercan last month and they just wanted to see passport and residency paper both when leaving and again on return.

We’ve been asked every time we leave and every time we arrive back through Ercan for our residency certificate. I’d have thought it would have been flagged on their computer system but apparently not (at least in our case.)
Following the example of somebody we both know we had the certificate reduced in size so that it fits into our passport covers and laminated. The same as many of us did with our Adapass. Makes it so much easier going through passport control.

Thanks Mowgli597, that just what I have done, but thought I'd double check. BTW, as one of us has a PP which hasn't been used yet, would it be advisable to take the last one, just to prove a point!!!

It wouldn't do any harm. I always carry my previous passport with my current one, and it has proved invaluable at times.benjaminbutton wrote: ↑Thu 23 Jun 2022 7:27 amThanks Mowgli597, that just what I have done, but thought I'd double check. Am glad that I didn't take someone else's advice to sling it, not that I had any intention of doing so.
