Car insurance for the North

Hi all,

We arrive around midnight next week and have opted for car hire from the south. To get car insurance, is the booth at Metehan 24 hour or am I better off getting a hotel in the south for the night?

I don’t know for sure what time they close. However, a friend who lives in the south often has to wait for the north side insurance person to turn up in the morning. Think they said open at around 08:00, but had to wait nearer to 09:00 on one occasion.
