When your Unlimited Max becomes due for renewal you may be disappointed to discover Vodafone have removed free roaming from this already expensive package. It is still possible to get EU or Global roaming as an added extra increasing this expensive monthly plan further.
The alternative perhaps, If you are a swallow, might be to buy a cheaper UK package without roaming that suits your UK needs and buy a local sim whilst in TRNC.
Research suggests that most phone users use less than 3gb of data monthly on their phone if they have home wifi also. Most cheap sim only packages offer free UK minutes and texts as standard.

Re: Vodafone Unlimited Max Changes
My wife, the second M in MnM, just took out a SIM Only plan last week same as me, the first M in MnM, which was Unlimited Max + 4 Benefits £32 a month. Free roaming is now one of those which is probably the "added extras" you mentioned Acacia. Another is free picture messaging but I cant remember what the other two are, mainly as we didn't need them. I don't know why they dropped it as a standard in the Unlimited Max because they kept it up, especially as Vodafone in Turkey anyway, surely it would put them above the other networks.

Are you aware that you can get substantial discounts if you have 2 Vodafone nos on same account? Even though Mrs M has taken out new account maybe worth contacting customer services. I was quoted the following yesterday for a 2nd number in same account for unlimited max:MnM wrote: ↑Mon 11 Jul 2022 11:08 amMy wife, the second M in MnM, just took out a SIM Only plan last week same as me, the first M in MnM, which was Unlimited Max + 4 Benefits £32 a month. Without roaming £18 pm
With global roaming £24 pm
Unfortunately I don’t want a 2nd number adding to my account, just a renewal at a reasonable price. Vodafone would not offer renewal at £24 pm. Wanted more!
