Log Roll

Looking for wooden Log Roll or simlar to put round base of tree, fill with compost and grow plants.

Have looked around West of Girne in a couple of Yapi's and garden centre nothing suitable.

Dont travel over to South side.

Better off using brick’s - they don’t rot! Gave up with wood around flower beds etc 10 years ago and my bricks are still doing the job - lol.

Another alternative is to use red roofing tiles on their edges! - probably find some used ones advertised here or on Facebook.

Keith, I have used the old Turkish roof tiles as well, they fit really well but have become very expensive of late - probably the best mind you and look much better than all the rest of the alternatives. I started like a true Brit by buying plastic rubbish that you would use in the UK, lasted almost a summer before the sun/UV ate it and it just snapped into many parts - learnt from that.

I think the type that waddo mentioned are the same as what eromar has for sale in the Sales forum viewtopic.php?f=15&t=56519
