North border car insurance online or 24 office

Does anyone know if you can purchase insurance for a car driving into the north online as I am arriving in Larnaca at 1am and I believe that the office at the border closes at 11 pm (unless anyone knows a border that has an office open 24 hours)

No.
Its a dilemma we all have to face. Stay at a Larnaca hotel, sleep in the car, but not at the control point, or go to Metehan which has a 24/7 insurance clerk.

Metehan does not have a TRNC 24/7 insurance clerk.
They close around midnight

Thanks for that update, another innovation that has been kept quiet. Its a shame they stopped the hire companies issuing pre-arranged insurance certificates at pick-up.
