Just wondering election day
They really worked that one out. On election day they not allowed to sell alcoholic drinks till 6 . Must be great for the hard hit restaurants and bars hotels. Who thought that one up

That day being on the 25 December. If you are booking something and want a nice bottle of wine to accompany your dinner i would check. Perhaps they have a re run on New Year’s Day

Well it didn’t work like that before. No drinks to be served. This is not like uk years ago. Having a lock in. I would check first. So people that go into the bar at any point have to stay till 6 . Sure that any publican would definitely give you the thumbs up there. The rules as stated are no alcoholic served on the day of the election. It’s got nothing to do with who pay for it. It’s just incase they get pist and vote as normal
