The original film was very good and this new 2022 version is just as good.

What a coincidence, last night I watched Black Narcissus (1947), Deborah Kerr, Dame Flora Robson, a very young Jean Simmons, etc. I burst into laughter when David Farrah appeared. Costume department dropped a clanger with his shorts and hat!!

I remember seeing the original version in the 50's which was also good but this one was a brilliant one.
