Following an update yesterday started getting messages about my windows license expiring soon; this on an eight years old laptop.

Am I really about to lose access to windows and if so is there a viable alternative I can download and use? Currently running windows 10.

Thanks

TML.

If you don't have any success and need an alternative - try downloading 'LibraOffice'
Its open source and free. It has word/excel/powerpoint clones, and does not need licencing
I have been using it successfully for quite a while.

I agree that LibreOffıce is a great find - I've also been using it for ages in preference to MS Office,

However, the OP said that their "Windows" licence was expiring - not Microsoft Office - I wonder if that was what they meant?
