Hi all, I heard the grapevine in Girne has opened under new ownership, is this true?
If so what type of food is it?
Thank you

It is only under new management , Kutlay Keco aka Jimmy did a soft handover because he wanted a long-deserved retirement but also hoped the food ethos would be consistent. Had a lovely meal there on 23rd.

Am I right in thinking the grapevine is open at lunchtime?
Where is the parking for it?
It's on our 'to do' list

it is open for lunch, parking is, however a real issue... there's only about room for two cars and they are always full whenever I go, so it's best to find a place to park elsewhere and build-up an appetite by walking. It's worth the effort.

Sounds like a good place to visit - where is it?

Careful, you'll have the "Off Topic" Polis on your back before you can say chamois leather.😄😄

In the road that runs from The Colony Hotel up to the Lefkosa roundabout (Hirondelle) on the LHS right next to the K-Pet garage.

Groucho, many thanks. Must have driven past it countless times and not seen it! Find that to be typical out here where I dare not take my eyes off the roads and the other drivers - lol. Must try it!
