Anyone know if the most pleasant and efficient man who doles out the TOM with a smile has started up the purge on over 70 year old drivers again?

Mimi2, I sometimes think that lots of “elderly” folks just drive across without getting a TOM or even insurance - but I could be wrong there. After all why would they take the risk just to avoid abiding by a very restrictive and discriminatory EU backed practice - lol.

Why not just issue the TOM for 90 days anyway, that is the maximum time we can spend in the EU in any 180 days? Hey ho, it’s all part of living here so we just get on with it.

Sorry can't help I am too young also no TOM for me as driving a GB plated car over
Now to throw a spanner in we have been told by many people that the 90 days in 180 don't count and you can keep going over as much as you want as it is a green line not a boarder
I'm leaving now to go find myself....if I arrive before I get back, please ask me to wait!

TAC, thanks for that - makes me feel much better - not, lol. So you have the best of all worlds then, GB plated car and YOUNG as well, enjoy it while you can, age creeps up on your license even if you don't feel it happening - lol. Our next 90 days starts on the 10th but I will push the envelope when it expires this time and see what happens. You never know how much this country can change overnight let alone in 90 days! Take care out there.
