ate there last Wednesday, had the smoked sea bream delicious, mezzes for starters excellent well worth a visit. Turn right at Karsiaka Square then take left fork till you reach the sea

Many of the cyclists from the last Lapta Cycle tour ended up there. Great grub, great service, great setting, and althoough they hav emore renovations to make, I can't wait to go back. What did you pay for your fish dish?

Marion, can't remember exactly, there were 3 in the party had 7 drinks, calamari starter, 3 smoked fish. 132tl total. On a previous visit had the full mezze and smoked fish 40 tl, agree with all your comments, should be on any fish lovers list, although they provide chicken dishes as well,.

It's name is Sirin Yali and Hamit owns it. Used to go there 9 years ago when you could not even get in for Greek Cypriots (that's how good it was) Hamit got old and exhausted and let his nephew have a go - he ruined it - then he had an ex manager from Niazis having a go, that was poor and rip off prices and we had to stop going. This was obviously a non-starter as it closed soon after. Hamit is a lovely man - we loved his informal approach of ripping a lump off his cigarette packet to write your order on. You would go to the fridge and choose your fish first and then he would sit down with you and chat for a while. I would say to him 'come on Hamit, I am starving, let's chat later' this amused him greatly.

I now cannot wait to go again as this would be our 'local'.
