Perhaps as the taxis may be getting a €700 euro fine for going the south they are creating more work for them...

Why would somebody compare uk emergency hospital car parking costs to ercan airport ...

This is directly aimed at locals..if you want to compare to UK airports it's a start but UK minimum salary is c 3 times here ..

The other car park at the old terminal offers a parking space and a shuttle to the new terminal, 5 euros a day.

That's good to know about the other car park. I presume you just turn up..park up and they take you. Do you know if you pay before or when you leave. I guess when you leave ! . Also do they give you a number to ring when you land back at ercan to pick you back up or do they have a booth or desk at the airport

www.ercanairportparking.com You can book a time slot and a parking space. If you have a VPN turn it off, it didnt work for me with it on. Greedy Ercan will never get my business again, in fact three friends have all agreed to take each other to the airport from now on.

Good grief that's really steep, won't be using their services. A taxi or lift from a friend is the way to go.

I do wish people would stop comparing UK and TRNC prices, its totally pointless and yes "ask a friend" is the answer. I know some car hire firms will do it for less than taxis and that's not illegal or anything.

I went onto the link for the 5 euro place. It appears the first slot is 6.30 an which is no good for my 5 am flight and any others around that time. Find that very odd . Maybe it's a mistake on their part.
