Missing black water tank cover

I realise you guys lived through the bad weather while I was swanning o ff but back to a garden with olive branches down and other branches half broken off other trees and half the garden in my pool.

But the puzzling thing is that the black screw on cover for the cold water storage tank on the roof is missing, PRESUMABLY BLOWN OFF. So if any one has found one in their garden I would be grateful for the return.

If not found I presume you can buy covers.

My water tank cover also went missing, along with three heavy concrete slabs which anchored it!!
The whole lot must have been sucked up over the tall trees which surrounded it, and were deposited way down my neighbour's garden, much further than I'd anticipated, with 2 of the concrete slabs much too close to the fronts of his 2 cars!! Possible consequences don't bear thinking about!

Well whether it was blown off ( it was screwed on ) or nicked you can`t easily buy a replacement lid and they are all different b........ sizes. Even Mr Pipe let me have an old one for free.....but it didn`t fit.

Have it covered with a bin bag securely tied on at the moment. But eventually will probably cost me a new tank....................rather expensive lid!!!!

Insurance Looseboots. They cough up for some surprising things here but not some stuff you may think you are covered for!
