Posting on behalf of a friend's neighbour.
Last night during the storm "Lucy" managed to get out of the garden in the area of the locals coffee shop in Karsiyaka .
She is a chocolate brown pointer with white speckles and is about 3 years old.
Not wearing a collar.
Very friendly. Although she is Turkish owned she will respond to her name.
Owner has been out and about today looking for her and is very upset that he has not found her.
If anyone spots her could they please give Steve (neighbour of loser) a call on
0533 8305045 as the owner doesn't speak English.
Thank you.
Lost dog-Karsiyaka.

Re: Lost dog-Karsiyaka.
Very upset to have to post that Lucy has been found dead.
She had fallen into a disused pool that had some water in and not being able to get out, she drowned.
Her body has been returned to the owner who although heartbroken at the tragic outcome, is grateful that he has been able to bury her.
Many thanks to members for the phone calls and messages and also for looking for her.

Re: Lost dog-Karsiyaka.
This is so sad, I had the same happen a while back to our much loved cat. My sympathy to Lucy's owner.
Remember, no matter where you go, there you are.
