Has anyone come across Mücahit Puani land and how it can affect your ability to sell your property?

Mujahid Title (Mücahit Koçanı): This ownership right to immovable property was granted by the government of Northern Cyprus to families of soldiers who died or were disabled during the 1974 conflict. Points (Mücahit Puan) were allocated to these families, which could be exchanged for real estate. These points were not backed by property in South Cyprus but were given as recognition for their service. The points were determined based on the number of family members affected, the service of the soldiers, and their status of disability or death. The issued titles were marked as “Mujahid Points.”

Thank you, our house was sold as Esdeger title but a neighbour has now been told after searches it's Mücahit and no bank will give a mortgage on it, so we don't really know where we stand in regard to selling.

Take the deeds the land registery ask for a tasinmaz Mal arastirma pay a small amount of money use to be c 90 tl but likely more now. Come back two days later they will give you a piece of white paper confirming the title.

Title can vary from plot to plot . Then you will know what's what.
