Paying for Health Insurance

I vaguely remember reading somewhere, that someone recently had paid health insurance with non-local card, I think it was Revolut. Just wondering if anyone on here has tried and been successful with a foreign card.
I've still got police appointment to attend to, so am not at stage yet for paying. Was just hoping to avoid a trip to Turk bank to top up/get a new prepaid card.

Also anyone know what health insurance costs at the moment please? I am hoping for 2 years, but we all know what hope does here.

I tried to pay with a Halifax, and got to the very last page and then unsuccessful. Someone paid with local card and then I reimbursed them.

Thanks BB. I know it's always been a local card. Just someone mentioned paying with foreign card (am sure it was Revolut). I just wondered if things had changed since I last paid 2 years ago. Of course they could have got mixed up with paying for residency rather than health. Know that you can use foreign cards for residency.
Like you I've had someone pay with local card, but past couple of times I've used a preloaded Turkbank card.

We paid with Revlout for health insurance & residency. Like you alphamike. Always had to go into town to topup Turkbank card. 'No More'
Only problem I had was. Trying to make 2 payments of same amount. Within a few minutes. Revlout security blocked second payment. Tried again next day no problem

Thank you both Kerry and Mimi, very helpful indeed and good news in not having to use a local card. It's not really a big deal, but it is one thing less to do going to Turk bank in this heat.
Mimi, yes can understand Revolut blocking 2 payments of same amount. I will only have one, so hopefully things will go smoothly. More to the point hope things go smoothly this morning at police appointment.
Thanks again everyone for your input, it is much appreciated.

Am shell shocked in a nice way, a complete breeze this morning at Famagusta police station, and very pleasant officers. Health insurance paid with Chase UK debit card.
