I need my daughter to sign POA form, have it notarised in Scotland and then sent to TRNC Consul in London for solicitor here in TRNC. So far so good. However am finding their website difficult to navigate and find out exactly what to do. It looks like there is a fee, but absolutely no details of what the fee is, other than paying by a postal order.
I have asked solicitor here exactly what needs to be done, but I don't seem to be getting through. I was told to get my daughter to head to London. Not quite so simple from north east of Scotland and working full time.
I'll be seeing solicitor again on Monday and will try to get more info, but I don't think that I will get any further forward.
Basically, am asking if anyone here has ever had to do this, and not travel to London and could give me some guidance?

Re: POA for here from someone in UK
It is a few years since I had to do this. At that time I had a Scottish solicitor notarise my signature, it was essentialt that her seal, was used and the document stamped with the firm’s rubber stamp. I then sent the document to TRNC London office with a stamped addressed return envelope and a postal order for the £25 fee applied at that time. A covering letter with contact phone number is also useful. The girls in the TarN. Office were very helpful when I called prior to doing all that. I suggest your daughter in Scotland phones the office. The address & phone number can be found on google, to get the current position. Hope this helps.

Re: POA for here from someone in UK
Any chance you could let me know how you are getting on. Our adviser has said that both my husband and myself have to have paper work prepared in both Turkish and English and witnessed here with passport numbers. Then we BOTH HAVE TO GO TO Uk solicitor who witnesses our names and passports on the English version of the forms. Then the Postal Order 25pounds comes into force, Then UK offices keep it for a week to 10days and then return to TRNC via DHL. Cost 75 pounds+ None of this can happen until such time as we have a Full Title Deeds and parcellation.
